First thing to know: Pull hard! The front door is hard to open. Some people almost wanted away thinking that it was closed. We went for breakfast and it was delicious. I had the Dimitri's Fryta, and others had the Garden Avocado Egg Sandwich, and the Egg Sandwich. All were very good. One suggestion to the owners - have some non-pork meats as an alternate for breakfast. Maybe some turkey sausage or bacon. I like pork, but one of our friends is Muslim so I skip the pork out of respect. I had to delete the ham or bacon from the entrees and I did not have anything to substitute with.
I have been here several times now and each time has been a great experience. The food is amazing, the staff is professional, and i like the Mediterranean vibes across the Cafe. If you want a taste of Greece come here!
I had a great lunch at Amalia! A beautifully designed bright and lively interior. Super friendly and attentive employee. Seems like a family owner restaurant which I always appreciate! The food was DELICIOUS, flavorful and fresh. Parking is a little tight with their recent opening but it’s for good reason :)
This is truly a gem! My sis took me to lunch here - the food was excellent !! Everything is made to order and delicious! I had the Greek salad with steak and the homemade chicken orzo soup which was truly the best I've ever had. I also tried the spanakopita and the cheese souffle which is made daily as well- Ambiance is darling. Equally as good as the food and ambiance is the family who owns it. They all work there and are so kind and it is very evident how important people's dining experiences are and how well they all work together 🤗 especially checking on patrons. So refreshing to see a restaurant like this. My new favorite - do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch or breakfast. I enjoyed it so much, I also took some things home. They do to go orders and I am almost certain they cater. Enjoy!
I ordered the Olympian Stack and all I can say is wow. I can honestly say this was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. On top of the food being spectacular the atmosphere is a 10/10. The space is so thoughtfully designed and the employees could not have been nicer. What a great addition to the area. We cannot wait to come back!
We visited the cafe on Saturday morning and it was quite busy. Even so, the service was great and we enjoyed everything we tried. The latte was delicious, as was the muffin. Good options and very kind staff, plus the place is charming! We loved it.
We travel to STL from Columbia often and I’m so glad we stopped by Cafe Amalia. The flavors were absolutely incredible—fresh, authentic, and perfectly seasoned. Every dish was presented beautifully, with so much attention to detail that it made the whole meal feel special. I can’t wait to come back and dine here again.
I had the greatest time at Cafe Amalia! The coffee tasted well and the staff were very attentive and polite. Definitely recommend for brunch celebrations. Also, Manchester is a great street for car lovers, so sitting by the window was really enjoyable XD
Great brunch at Cafe Amalia today! The food was delicious and the coffee was really good. For a busy Sunday, the service was fast and very friendly. The staff checked on us a few times with a smile. My friend and I shared a dessert, which was the perfect ending. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!
I live right around the corner from this little gem and watched it being built, so we couldn’t wait to try it—and this was our first visit. Not only is the space beautifully designed, but the staff’s attentiveness and friendliness were truly outstanding. The food brought me right back to my trip to Greece—authentic Greek like this can be hard to find. We ordered two chopped chicken gyro salads and shared the Helen of Trio Dip Sampler. The feta! The tzatziki! The crudité! Everything was excellent. My mom ordered the freddo cappuccino, which was perfect—not overly sweet. She loved it so much she got another one to go! I grabbed a cold brew with whole milk to go as well. I highly recommend stopping by—we’ll definitely be back.
